Making the Case: What does a federal judge ordering Texas to suspend its abortion law mean?
The White House says the fight has just started after a federal judge ordered Texas to suspend its new abortion law. The law, which is the most restrictive abortion law in America, bans abortions once a fetal heartbeat can be detected, which is usually around six weeks. It's enforced by private citizens filing lawsuits, not by police. So what does this all mean? We spoke with our legal expert, Charles Adams, now that some are making the case that doctors can pretty much go back to performing abortions without fear.
