FOX 26 Houston Weather Forecast

We are finally getting a break from the multiple rounds of showers and storms that we've dealt with over recent weeks. High pressure is building in and that will mean intense heat but very little rain. It also means poor air quality as our air quality alert has been extended through Friday evening. Temperatures will soar to the middle to upper 90s through the weekend with rain chances at 10% or less. Spotty showers and storms are expected to return next Monday and Tuesday so enjoy the break! Tropics remain quiet with no activity expected for the North Atlantic, Caribbean & Gulf of Mexico over the next week.
