HOUSTON - Two children were taken to the hospital after a major crash in north Houston.
The crash was reported around 7:55 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of the North Sam Houston Parkway service road and JFK Blvd.
According to police, a black pickup truck was going westbound on the service road and a Jeep SUV was going southbound on JFK when the vehicles collided in the intersection.
Two child passengers in the Jeep were taken to the hospital. Police say one of the children had potentially serious injuries, but both children are now said to be in stable condition.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
