Light rail train damaged after struck by pickup truck
HOUSTON (FOX 26) - A METRO light rail train was struck by a pickup truck in downtown Houston and damaged. The truck driver refused to stop and officers conducted a search for the person who caused the accident.
The light rail train was traveling westbound on Capitol Street near Fannin Street at around 2 a.m. when the truck driver bypassed a red traffic light, clipping the front of the train.
No one was injured in the accident.
