Driver in 2017 fatal bus crash tests positive for drugs, violates bond
The driver of the deadly head-on church bus crash in Uvalde County is back in jail for allegedly violating conditions of his pre-trial release. According to court documents, Jack Dillion Young violated three conditions of his release program - including testing positive for THC.
13 members of First Baptist church of New Braunfels were killed when the bus they were in collided with a white pickup truck in March 2017. The driver of the pickup truck and one bus passenger sustained serious injuries. 64-year-old Rose Mary Harris is the only survivor from First Baptist.

The wreck happened March 29, 2017 on a two-lane highway west of San Antonio.
Jack Dillon Young, of Leakey had entered a not guilty plea to all charges. He's been indicted on multiple charges, including intoxication manslaughter and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon causing serious bodily injury.

A National Transportation Safety Board report says Young told investigators he was checking his phone for a text when the crash happened. According to the report, he said he'd taken prescription drugs before the crash and investigators found marijuana in his pickup
According to the NTSB preliminary report, two witnesses in a vehicle following behind the pickup truck recorded a 14 minute long video of the motion of the pickup truck prior to the crash.
