Dozens injured in bus crash at Lincoln Tunnel
NEW YORK (FOX5NY) - A crash involving two New Jersey Transit buses at the Lincoln Tunnel around 10 a.m. Friday injured 32 people, including eight seriously.
None of the injuries were considered to be life-threatening.
The buses, one from Wayne and one from Oradell, were in an inbound lane of the center tube when they collided.

New York City sent out an emergency alert to expect a heavy presence of emergency personnel in the area of the tunnel and to expect traffic delays.
To reduce the impact of having multiple ambulances respond, the FDNY sent in its MRTU vehicle designed to deploy in mass-casualty incidents. Chief Stephen Russo said the vehicle is a large bus that can carry more than two dozen patients.
The Port Authority Police Department is investigating. Police spoke to the drivers and passengers and were set to review security video.
One lane of that tube of the tunnel is reserved for buses headed into the city during the morning rush hour.
