On this week’s edition of Allison’s Cooking Diary, we are making Cream Cheese Cookies!
This recipe makes 60 small cookies, so you will have plenty to share with family and friends.

Ingredients
- 3 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon almond extract
- 2 ½ cups flour, sifted
- ½ teaspoon salt
- Red & green sprinkles
Method
- Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Cream together cream cheese and butter. Add in the sugar and mix until completely combined.Add in the egg yolk, vanilla and almond extracts and mix until combined.
- Slowly add in flour and salt.
- Roll the cookie dough into small balls and place on a greased baking sheet. Use the bottom of a glass to flatten out the dough.
- Add the sprinkles to each cookie.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes and cool.
- Enjoy!
