'Be Someone' graffiti covered with black paint

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - The iconic "Be Someone" graffiti near downtown Houston is gone – again.

The words on the railroad bridge over I-45 have been covered with black paint.

It is unclear who covered the words or why.

The "Be Someone" graffiti has been defaced several times since it went up in 2012.

Last year, thousands signed a petition asking the city to make it an official protected landmark.
