12 students with minor injuries from school bus crash

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Twelve students were treated for minor injuries after a Pasadena Independent School District bus is damaged in an accident on the westbound lanes of the South Sam Houston Tollway near the Beamer Road exit in southeast Houston.

The damaged vehicle was part of a five-bus caravan traveling to NRG Stadium for the Pasadena Memorial High School graduation ceremony. Replacement buses will take the remaining students to the stadium. Parents have been directed to go the venue for the ceremony while the parents of the injured students have been contacted, according to a spokesman for the school district.
