Town hall meetings offering flood insurance help for Harvey victims

Harvey causes flooding in Houston

Time is running out for Hurricane Harvey flood victims who still need help.

Two town hall meetings are scheduled to be held this week for people who need assistance recovering their full flood insurance.

The local law firm Long & Long, insurance adjusters and former FEMA supervisors will be at both meetings.

They will help homeowners understand their rights under their flood insurance policy, important deadlines, and how to file important documents correctly.

The first meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 18, at the Kingwood Community Center (4102 Rustic Woods Drive, Kingwood, Texas 77345).

The second meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 19, at Gina’s Italian Kitchen & Pizzeria in Friendswood (129 W. Parkwood Avenue, Friendswood, Texas 77546)
