Houston Restaurant Weeks 2018 restaurants, menus announced

With the return of Houston Restaurant Weeks on Aug. 1 and running through Labor Day (Sept. 3), the only question is where to take advantage of the discounted prices at the more than 250 Houston-area participating restaurants that will be directly donating to the Houston Food Bank based on their sales during the 34-day event.

As of July 15, supporters can visit HoustonRestaurantWeeks.com to view the ever-growing list of restaurants that have committed to participate in the fundraiser, along with their Houston Restaurant Weeks menus. Restaurants will be added to the website until August 1. Some participating restaurants may require reservations, although walk-ins will be accepted at most locations. This information will be noted on each restaurant’s menu page on the website.

The participating restaurants are expected to serve specially-priced multi-course prix fixe menus that include brunch, lunch and dinner. Founded in 2003 by volunteer Cleverley Stone, Houston Restaurant Weeks is the single largest fundraiser of its kind in the United States and benefits the Houston Food Bank, the largest food bank in the United States. The event is tun 100 percent by volunteers.
