Salad with smoked jackfruit at Herb & Beet

THE WOODLANDS, Texas (FOX 26) - Herb & Beet has opened in The Woodlands and Chef Lance Kramer is incorporating smoked jackfruit in The Jackalope salad, which is also made with organic baby spinach, arugula, jicama, sesame seeds, almonds and Asian sesame dressing. Chef Kramer tells FOX 26 News food segment contributor and radio show host Cleverley Stone about jackfruit. He also shows samples of it and describes how he smokes it to use in The Jackalope salad.
