Highway 59 northbound reopens in Porter after deadly 18-wheeler crash
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas - The entirety of Highway 59 North has been reopened following a deadly crash on Thursday in Porter.
Montgomery County Precinct 4 Constable Kenneth Hayden reported the crash happened near FM 1314 at Highway 59 and Highway 99.

Officials said a 2012 18-wheeler was going northbound on I-59/69 and approached the exit to 99 westbound.
Texas DPS said the driver failed to stay in a single lane, hit a concrete barrier, and the 18-wheeler caught fire.
The driver, who has been identified as 56-year-old Francis Martin, of Houston, was killed.
No other injuries were reported in the crash.
